Last year we sold out of our surplus honey very early.
In an effort to have more available this year, our bees are being wintered down south (Texas)
so they will hopefully get an earlier and stronger start. We will also install a couple additional packages this spring so
hopefully the bees will produce a wonderful crop of honey this year.
Our honey is extracted from the hives, filtered through a strainer and bottled in the purest
form. Our honey is never pasteurized as pasteurization destroys many of
the beneficial enzymes found in raw honey.
Note- All honey will crystallize. This is a natural process and CRYSTALIZED HONEY HAS NOT GONE “BAD”. To return it to its liquid state, simply place the honey jar in warm water and stir until the
crystals dissolve. Better yet, scoop out the crystals and eat them as is. What a tasty treat!!
In addition to liquid honey, we are hoping to have comb honey as another tasty treat. Our expected honey harvest is sometime around Labor Day.
